\nOur patriarch Donnie is the father and founder of our group. He put his vision and faith into action by gathering two other Deacons to his home to work on some songs.\u00a0 His steady hand has been the strength and foundation needed to move the group forward over the past 20 years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Madison McCorkle<\/h3>\n

Madison is our lead singer.\u00a0 Her powerful, award-winning vocal style is the driving force of the group.\u00a0 Madison began singing in church at an early age.\u00a0 Her interest in music grew into a desire to sing with her father in the group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Guitar and Harmony Vocals<\/p>\n

When our long-time guitar player, Hubert Furr retired, Jessica stepped up to fill the spot. Being Donnie's daughter, she already knew the material and was a perfect fit. Her harmony vocals blend very well with Madison and her playing keeps us on track. She is a crucial part of the Strings' new sound.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Jeff McCorkle<\/h3>\n

Banjo, Guitar, Resonator, Harmony Vocals<\/p>\n

Jeff is one of the original members of the group when it was founded in 2004.\u00a0 He is the band leader and manages the day to day operations.\u00a0 His loves to drive the songs along with his crisp banjo style and sing with his daughter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
